Grinds, sands, cleans, or polishes objects or parts to correct defects or to prepare surfaces for further finishes using power tools. Breaks excess gating and risers from castings as they pass by on the shaker pan. Verifies quality of finished workpieces by inspecting them, comparing to templates, measuring their dimensions, or testing them in working machinery. Assists in other mold line duties as assigned.
Serves as an integral member of the human resources team, collaborating to support ongoing programs and initiatives. Provides excellent customer service and serves as the day-to-day contact and the face of human resources. Primary areas of responsibility include recruitment; attendance and discipline system for hourly team members; onboarding/offboarding; rewards/recognition; and file maintenance/records management.
